   CVE-2016-4333:  HDF5 bug  HDFFV-9993 (TALOS-2016-179)

Users can patch earlier releases with the patch "hdf51.8-CVE2016.patch" in this
directory. However, please be aware that this patch was only tested with:

  HDF5-1.17
  HDF5-1.16

To apply the patch on Unix machines type

    patch -p0 < [patchfilename]

in the top level source code directory.
