Special congratulations are in order for Mike Folk, fearless leader
of the HDF group!  Mike was selected for the 1999 Chancellor's Academic 
Professional Excellence (CAPE) Award, and was honored in an award ceremony 
yesterday, hosted by University of Illinois Chancellor Michael Aiken.  
This award recognizes academic professionals at the University of Illinois 
for excellence in their work and for their personal and professional 
contributions to life at the university.
